Her strong versatility has made her a successful, sought after artist in the industry, allowing her to travel the world while accomplishing an extremely multifaceted career.

She began her training in Vancouver, Canada as a member of Harbour Dance Center’s Intensive Training Program and the Source Dance Company, and has since worked consistently in live stage, television and film. As of 2019, Sammie has taken on a new role at Royal Caribbean as an assistant choreographer and rehearsal director.  Most recently Sammie has been a part of the creative team for Royal's threw newest shows - Aqua80, The Book and InTENse.. Sammie is thankful for the opportunity to continue to grow and move up within such an amazing company.

As an instructor, Sammie’s dynamic and challenging choreography, combining both athleticism and style keeps her in high demand. She spent years on faculty at Vancouver’s Harbour Dance Centre, returned to work for the Lover’s Cabaret as a choreographer, and taught and choreographed internationally as part of Joffrey Ballet School’s audition tour, as well as choreographed for their New York Summer Program’s showcase.
